Education

Overview

RCA provides numerous learning opportunities for the HR community by offering WorldatWork certification courses, seminars and examinations right in the Richmond area. Each certification course includes 2 full days of classroom instruction followed by a four-hour exam session on the third day. Meals are provided and accommodations are available for overnight stays. HR professionals who are working towards any WorldatWork certification may also do self-study and test out of any other course during the exam session on the final day.

COURSES

RCA is offering the following courses in the Richmond area:

June 7 - 8, 2010

C2 - Job Analysis, Documentation and Evaluation:  This basic level course examines the methods and processes that support job analysis, job documentation and job evaluation in order to attract and retain effective talent.  It covers various methods of job evaluation including quantitative and market-based approaches.

October 4 - 5, 2010

B3 - Health and Welfare Plans - Plan Types and Administration:  This course provides fundamental information that every practitioner must know in regard to different types of health and welfare benefits available.  Key areas of focus include medical health care benefits, supplemental health care benefits, the concept of choice, disability plans, survivor benefits, pay for time not worked and the administration of these different programs.
